MIDDELBURG HOSPITAL

This hospital is well equipped and 6 to 7 specialists, in different fields, visit the hospital weekly. Ample provision has been made for medical as well as nursing personnel in the hospital and it is a training hospital for nursing staff. The hospital is also equipped with its own intensive care unit containing two beds.

SOUTH AFRICAN POLICE

The Divisional Commissioner of the South African Police for Mpumalanga, with its various branches as well as the District Commandant, are based at Middelburg. New offices worth R3 million for the Commissioner of Police have been erected already.
